Project ACE investigates relationships between lifestyle behaviors, how we think, and how we feel.
Physical activity has been associated with cognitive and emotional benefits across the lifespan. ACE seeks to investigate relations between lifestyle behaviors and cognitive and emotional well-being in young to middle-aged adults. Findings may clarify the utility of lifestyle physical activity for cognitive and emotional function with age at the individual level.
We are seeking participants between the ages of 18 and 55 to complete aerobic exercise, cognitive assessments, and mood questionnaires. Participants will complete two study sessions at Rutgers University and will be compensated with $20 and their aerobic fitness assessment report.
